Web Design with a UX-First Approach

Thoughtful, responsive sites built from solid UX.

Overview
I approach web design the same way I approach product design—starting with clarity, structure, and user needs. Each project begins in Figma, defining information architecture, layout, and visual direction before moving into a clean, scalable build in Elementor.Below are three examples where I owned both the UX/UI design and front-end implementation to deliver responsive, easy-to-use marketing sites.
Mission University Website
Role: UX/UI Design, Responsive Layouts, Elementor Development
Summary:
Mission University needed a website that communicated credibility, mission clarity, and easy navigation for prospective students. I designed the structure and UI in Figma, focusing on hierarchy and content clarity, then built the site in Elementor using global styles and reusable components.
Key contributions:
  • UX-first layout and IA
  • UI design system created in Figma
  • Fully responsive Elementor build

Evolution Financial Advisors
Role: UX/UI Design, Page Design, Elementor Development
Summary:
The core visual direction and initial homepage concept were established before I joined the project. From there, I expanded the design system, refined the UI patterns, and designed the remaining pages in Figma to create a consistent, scalable experience across the site. After finalizing the designs, I built the pages in Elementor using global styles and reusable components to ensure visual cohesion and responsive behavior.
Key contributions:
  • Extended and refined the existing design direction
  • Designed additional pages in Figma using consistent UI patterns
  • Built out the full responsive site in Elementor

Berry Law: VetInjury.com
Role: UX/UI Redesign, Information Architecture, Elementor Development
Summary:
Berry Law needed their multi-page website distilled into a single-page experience. I restructured the content into a clearer narrative flow, redesigned the visual hierarchy in Figma, and rebuilt the entire page in Elementor with an emphasis on simplicity and fast scanning.
Key contributions:
  • Content reduction and IA restructuring
  • Figma redesign with improved hierarchy
  • Fully responsive Elementor build
